Louise & James

Bedford, NY

Elegant New York Country Club Summer Wedding

Louise & James’ August wedding at Bedford Golf & Tennis Club offered the perfect blend of timeless elegance and heartfelt celebration. Surrounded by the gentle beauty of the Hudson Valley and their closest family and friends, their New York country club wedding felt intimate, refined, and deeply personal.

We Can’t Forget The Rehearsal Dinner!

But let’s rewind for a moment—because their rehearsal dinner at Kanopi was nothing short of unforgettable. Perched high above the Hudson Valley, Louise and James welcomed their closest friends and family into a night of sweeping views, heartfelt toasts, and easy laughter. With candles flickering and the skyline fading into dusk, it was the perfect beginning to a weekend full of love, meaning, and celebration.

The Beauty Was in the Details

Louise and James share the kind of connection that’s efortless yet profound. Throughout the day, their joy felt steady and grounded—a quiet confidence that comes from deep love and deep knowing. Whether it was a soft glance during their first look or the way they held hands as they walked the course at sunset, every moment felt meaningful.

A Wedding Aesthetic Rooted in Sophistication

With a palette of navy, soft blues, and whites, the design exuded classic elegance. Louise wore Manolo Blahniks and slipped a sixpence from her grandmother into her shoe—a small token full of sentiment and symbolism.

Bridesmaids floated through the day in ethereal Amsale gowns, while James and his groomsmen stood sharp in tailored tuxedos. Flowers by Brian created floral pieces that felt lush and refined, echoing the soft romance of the setting. Even the stationery, designed by State of Grey, reflected the couple’s understated aesthetic.

From start to finish, every element of their New York country club wedding reflected intention and timeless taste.

A Heartfelt Celebration at Bedford Golf & Tennis Club

Guests were welcomed with wine and string music as they gathered on the lawn. The ceremony, set beneath wide-open skies, felt both sacred and relaxed. Louise met James mid-aisle for a kiss, and the crowd exhaled together—a collective breath of joy.

After a few quiet moments alone, the newlyweds joined their guests for cocktail hour on the terrace. A private reception room reveal gave them time to soak in the space before dinner began.

Candlelight filled the tent. Toasts from family brought out both laughter and tears. And during golden hour, Louise & James stepped onto the golf course for portraits bathed in warm light—a favorite moment of the day.

Inside, their first dances gave way to a packed dance floor, where the celebration continued late into the evening. Their New York country club wedding was more than beautiful. It was full of soul.

Photography Rooted in Story

Our approach is never about perfection—it’s about presence. We sought to document what felt true: the emotion in Louise’s expression as she stepped into her gown, the joy radiating from James during their first dance, and the quiet pauses that said everything without words.

Their wedding wasn’t just a moment. It was a story—and we were honored to tell it.
