A Winston-Salem Historic Venue for a Classic Wedding

Being based in Greensboro, North Carolina, we were thrilled to be a part of a joyful and elegant winter wedding at The Brookstown Inn in Winston Salem. Located in the heart of downtown Winston-Salem, this historic hotel provided the perfect luxurious and intimate setting for any couples’ special day, and we were able to capture all the beauty and emotion of the occasion for Taylor and Josh.

The wedding was truly a winter wonderland, with the Christmas in the courtyard, twinkling lights, and garlands of greenery adorning the Inn. The ceremony was filled with joy and emotion as Taylor and Josh exchanged vows in front of their family and friends in the inn’s spacious ballroom.

After the ceremony, the we braved the cold winter temperatures and explored the courtyard, staircases and streets to get some amazingly beautiful and unique bride and groom portraits. While Alex and I were shivering in the 20 degree temperatures, Taylor and Josh seemed to be on a love high and their authenticity and joy shined through in the photographs.

During this time their guests made their way to the inn’s cozy bar for a festive and fun cocktail hour. Once cocktail hour finished and the ballroom was flipped for dinner and the reception, the guests made their way back to the ballroom for a night full of celebration. The room was decorated with candlelight and sparkling holiday decorations, and the guests enjoyed a delicious meal and danced the night away to the music provided by Ryan with Triad DJ.

We were so impressed by the talented vendors who helped bring this wedding to life. Makeup By Ashley did a beautiful job with the bride’s makeup, highlighting her natural beauty and giving her a radiant glow. The flowers from Twin City Floral added the perfect touch of elegance and beauty to the ceremony and reception, and the hair by b.b.f. bridal artistry was impeccably styled.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the expert planning of Heather with Pearman Events and More. From start to finish, she was organized, professional, and detail-oriented, ensuring that every aspect of the wedding went off without a hitch.
