Mountain Engagement Session Outside Asheville, North Carolina

When a couple tells us they want to have their engagement session in the mountains, outside of Asheville our answer is always YES! And then when Stephanie said she wanted to do it at the Max Patch Hike, we were absolutely thrilled. Is there a better way to start your wedding adventure than with an engagement session at Max Patch Hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains outside of Asheville, NC? I don’t think so!

The moment Stephanie and Collin stepped foot on Max Patch Hike, we knew this was going to be a magical engagement session. The crisp air, the rolling hills, and the stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were the perfect backdrop for their session.

We started the session with a more casual look. Stephanie and Collin’s laughter and playful banter filled the air as we made our way to the top of Max Patch Hike.

And when we finally reached the summit, the view took our breath away. The Blue Ridge Mountains stretched out before us, bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun. Stephanie and Collin held each other close as we captured the sweetest moments against this incredible backdrop.

As the sun set behind the mountains, we took advantage of the golden hour light, capturing some of the most romantic shots of Stephanie and Collin. The soft light illuminated their love, creating a warm and intimate ambiance that we were honored to capture on camera.

Even with the wind blowing, we were still able to have so much fun and capture real, authentic moments. What truly made this engagement session special was Stephanie and Collin’s love for each other. They were so comfortable and in sync with one another, it was as if we weren’t even there. Their love shone through every shot, and we couldn’t help but feel grateful to be a part of their journey.

Max Patch Hike will forever hold a special place in our hearts as photographers.
